Effective 21 September 2026. bakepdf is operated by Oktobar (“we”). Using the site means you accept these terms.
A set of PDF tools, most of which execute in your own browser. You keep every right in every document you process. We claim nothing, license nothing, and cannot read what we never receive.
Sign PDF produces an electronic signature — the kind eIDAS calls simple, and the kind the overwhelming majority of agreements ask for. It is not a certificate-backed digital signature and does not carry a qualified trust service provider’s attestation. If the other side has asked for a qualified signature specifically, you need a certificate authority, not this tool.
Paid plans are monthly, billed in advance through Polar, who are the merchant of record. Ask within thirty days of a charge and you get your money back, no argument and no interrogation — write to support@bakepdf.app. Subscriptions are cancelled from Polar’s portal and run to the end of the period you already paid for; files in your library stay for thirty days after that. We may change prices, but never for a period you have already paid, and never without telling account holders by email first.
You can stop using bakepdf whenever you like, and ask for the account to be deleted by writing to support@bakepdf.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks the list above; if it was not abuse, the unused part of the month is refunded.
The service is provided as it is. PDF is a thirty-year-old format with a great many dialects, and a file that one tool refuses is a bug we would like to hear about rather than a promise we broke. Keep your originals — that is good advice for any converter, ours included.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data — a library whose password and recovery code are both gone included — or for lost profits, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits what the law does not let us limit.
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and account holders hear about anything material by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the new terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the service and ask for a refund of any unused period.
