Split PDF

Turn a single long PDF into the pieces you actually need. Split at fixed intervals, carve out explicit page ranges, or blow the whole thing apart into one file per page. Multiple outputs come back as a ZIP.

Questions people actually ask

How do I write page ranges?

Comma-separated, with hyphens for spans: 1-3, 7, 10-12 gives you three files. Pages are numbered the way your reader shows them, starting at 1.

Can I extract just one section without splitting the rest?

Yes — use Extract pages instead. Split is for cutting a document into several outputs; extract keeps one.

Do you keep a copy of my file?

No. Split PDF runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and the Canvas API — the bytes of your document never travel to us. The only thing that reaches our servers is a counter incrementing by one, and whatever you deliberately choose to save to your library.

Is it really free?

Yes: three documents a day, up to ten pages each, with no account and no watermark. Beyond that, Baker is $10 a month for 300 documents with no page limit at all, and Bakery is $25 for 1,500.
